Dennerle Aquarium Starter Rapid is a highly effective product for quick,
safe start of aquariums. It consists of two parts:
1. Live filtering bacteria - they settle on the filter material and the substrate and
the elimination of impurities begins immediately. The bacterial solution is
highly concentrated, with a guaranteed culture of 500 million bacteria per milliliter.
2. Specially developed nutrient medium for bacteria that ensures rapid growth and
reproduction.
How it works:
-Nitrifying bacteria (Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter) convert harmful
ammonia into nitrates through nitrites, thereby detoxifying the water
-In anaerobic areas of the aquarium - primarily in the substrate and filter -
denitrifying bacteria (Paracoccus) convert nitrates into gaseous nitrogen,
which reduces the nitrate content.
-Filtration bacteria also break down dead plant matter and
food residues , fish faeces, organic pollutants, proteins, fats,
carbohydrates, harmful organic substances and organic deposits.
Dosage:
bacteria: 10 ml / 10 liters of water
medium: 5 ml / 10 liters of water on the first day, 1 ml / 10 liters of water on
days 2-6
